On September 13, 2007, a Thursday at around 2:00 p.m. John Major Jenkins called Gary Goldburg on his “In The Spirit” program on WRPI, Troy N.Y., 91.5 FM, and live audio on the internet (www.WRPI.org)  This was a prearranged and scheduled telephone call concerning details about the great paradigm shift predicted and prophesied for December, 2012. John has spent years studying the Mayan calendar and the prophesy inscribed at Izapa, a Mayan temple near the southern part of the boarder of Chiapas and Guatemala in Mexico. If you don’t know about the Great Year whose time span is approximately 26,000 years associated with the precession of the Earth’s axis, you may want to look this up in an encyclopedia. It is part of the physical, astronomical aspect of the great change taking place. The Mayans of about 2000 years ago believed that the physical and spiritual dimensions of the Universe do indeed work in concert, not opposition, nor independent of each other. They believed as I do that the physical in all the Universe is a reflection of the spiritual dimensions. In December of 2012, the Earth’s axis will be perfectly aligned with the center of our Milky Way Galaxy marking a completion of a Great Year cycle and the beginning of a new Great Year. That is the physically and astronomically significant event. Spiritually and metaphysically, it marks a time of great change and out-pouring of Spirit Energy in which the consciousness of the Human race will begin to receive a far deeper wisdom from what John Major Jenkins calls Perennial Wisdom which has been known to us in the past but has been lost to us due to our great attention to physical and technological matters, while sorely neglecting spiritual matters. This lack of attention to spirituality is the cause of all the war, strife and great suffering of Humanity for centuries and millennia at this point. A person whom I regard as a great spiritual leader and healer said earlier this year at a meeting I attended, “The forces of 2012 are now in place. Get rid of all negativity within you.” I am not naming this person because I haven’t asked permission to quote her. At the time, I accepted that statement on faith. After hearing John speak, the above quoted statement is logical to me and I discuss it at greater length in the next paragraph below. The new consciousness I am referring to on this website is indeed this great paradigm shit of 2012! We will indeed replace the present vengeance disguised as justice system with REAL restorative win-win justice. The Law of Abundance, the Law of Attraction, and Love your Neighbor as Yourself will indeed be the new guidelines by which to live, not just given lip service and disregarded in real life, but actually practiced as an everyday working practical lifestyle. The present economic and social system will indeed crumble as is happening now! The seeds are already being sewn by a grass roots movement of people all over the world who are now waking up to this new, though ancient way to think and live! This includes the New Kids spoken about by PMH Atwater in her book, “Beyond the Indigo Children” that I discuss on my “Indigo Children” page. The movement also includes people like me who are “getting it”. Eventually, healing centers will replace prisons. Farther on, schools will teach children the Golden Rule not as merely an unattainable ideal, but how to make it work in everyday life practice for real!  Children and older students will be asked, “What is your gift? What is your passion and joy? They will be encouraged and nurtured in that direction and told, as Jesus preached “Go do as the Spirit leads, and think not how you must provide for yourself. The spirit will provide”  [Yes, I am taking liberty here, altering a Bible verse which is about witnessing the Gospel, specifically, and applying it to chosen vocation in general.  When the Golden Rule is practiced for real, I truly believe this alteration of Jesus’ instructions will indeed apply. It is nothing less than the Law of Abundance in practice.]

       As the present system crumbles, many people still filled with negativity will be fixating on all the disintegration and going crazy. There will be more suicides and berserker events, just as are happening now. The solution to keeping your head in it all is to focus on the new grass roots movement and stay in touch with it, seek it out even with something as unreliable and tenuous (to some) as plain old simple prayer! Try it! I double dog dare you!
