The Indigo People and What They Mean to Us

On the morning of the 21^st of July, 2005 I heard the hostess of Necessary Radio on WRPI interviewing Barbra Gilman who lives near Warrensburg, N.Y.  Barbra is an Indigo Person, one of those people born wired to the Cosmos on Broadband while the rest of us are on dial-up.  Now I will attempt to explain that. My dear friend, Carole goes with me regularly on my weekend Meals on Wheels route. She is able to feel all kinds of electromagnetic and non physical spirit energy (Prana or Chi) in parts of her body. This includes power substations, all communications equipment including microwave, electric motors of all kinds including diesel electric locomotives. She can smell cancer and she’s never been wrong with that. Lately she has been experimenting with her ability to telekinetically turn sodium street lights on and off mentally with her personal energy. She can feel chakras, her own and those of everybody else (Google chakras and Yoga if you don’t know what they are).  She could always see auras.  In certain areas of Schenectady, she sometimes sees visions that go hundreds of years into the past before anything here was settled. She often sees a wolf and knows it’s the same one each time. She also is able to see molecules.  I know another lady who also sees molecules and auras. In January of 2005, I heard about the Indigo Children for the first time on “In the Spirit” on WRPI, and I knew immediately that’s what Carole is. We saw the movie “Indigo” in Saratoga Springs on World Indigo day, January 29, 2005, and we also saw a documentary on the Indigo People in Albany on World Indigo Day, 2006. Barbra Gilman was present in a hosting capacity in both events. She has a web page (www.barbragilman.com). And here is another link (www.pmhatwater.com) that has a wealth of information including Dr. Atwater's book "Beyond the Indigo Children". The term "Indigo Children" is already somewhat of a hype. There are Tremendously intelligent children being born all over the Earth who are genius level, psychic, Astrally hard wired and equal to or beyond the capability of those who've been called "Saint" and "Perfect Master". Dr. Atwater talks of a "Fifth Word" which is a new emerging age synonimous with the Age of Aquarius. This is indeed the greatest transition of human society in at least the past several thousand years of presently known history.  

I’ve been a dabbling student of Yoga all my adult life. Now it is my religion, including transcendental meditation, Sahaja Yoga (www.sahajayoga.org), Kundalini (google it) Yoga.  Three decades ago I experienced a baptism of tribulation into the fundamentalist mindset that brainwashed me to that extent which required therapy to overcome my sickness of viciously and obsessively hating God. Out of it all, I learned that “sin” according to traditional Christian and western theology traditional thinking is really unresolved hurt in all of us. Hurt is dealt with by healing and nurturing, not punishment!!!  MOST OF THE TROUBLE WITH THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE ON THIS PLANET AMOUNTS TO UNRESOLVED HURT!!!  THAT’S THE CANCER WE’RE STILL TRYING TO FIX WITH BANDAIDS!!!!!!!!    The Indigo people are here to REALLY fix this cancer, and they’re up to and more than up to the task.

As I’ve said elsewhere, there is no “Them”. There’s only US. We are all interconnected.  The highest, and indeed only truly workable justice is “Win-win”, not “win-lose” which inexorably becomes “lose-lose” because we are all interconnected.

I do a lot of mental imaging, rewriting MY story, and replacing MY negative assessment of the fundamentalist people with thoughts in which I imagine they finally “got it” the way I “got it” when I read “Conversations with God” by Neale Donald Walshe, who incidentally, also played the part of the grandfather of the Indigo child in the movie “Indigo”.  We are all victims of ourselves, and we can fix ourselves. I have been raising my consciousness with Yoga, coming to understand that ALL negative thoughts are bad for me and actually draw negativity into my life. Dare I say that all thought and attitude is prayer?  I do believe that, have experienced it and have experienced my life getting better and far more coherent as I practice the discipline of being more joyful and less negative. Wayne Dyer is right with his “Power of Intention”. The Indigo people are born knowing this.  The human race is on a certain self destruct course. The Indigo People are here to prevent that by raising the consciousness of humanity out of the present world wide political and ideological fear based mentality into a mentality of creativity, abundance, healthy self worth, and unconditional compassion and understanding, all based upon spiritual, not political principals. Yoga and the wisdom of Eastern Mysticism have shown me that we are all both genders in the depth of our spirits with nothing lacking. That in one fell swoop explains all homosexual and transgender phenomena. A generation from now, there will be many places where an individual will indeed be able to declare his/her place in the gender spectrum as an inalienable right!!!  Fundamentalist mentality will be regarded as a manifestation of childhood hurt, and dealt with as a disease of attitude, and corrected by nurturing and education. Nurturing and education will be guaranteed by a sane society establishing it as a highest priority. What’s today’s highest priority? National security. What drives it? FEAR!!!!!!!!!   A lot of it by POLITICAL DESIGN, LUST FOR POWER, and US VS THEM MENTALITY.   The Indigo People are born seeing this to be a disease and they have the tools to fix it.  Nurturing and education will replace AFTER THE FACT LAW which does not correct anything at all. This is why I am down on laws getting tough on hate crimes. It does nothing to prevent hate crimes because it doesn’t address the real problem at all. In a few generations all human society will be turned on its head, and I do mean that as a pun.  We will all be using our heads more effectively along with far greater consciousness than ever before in all of human history.

I have a friend who is a mom, teacher, songwriter and performing musician who has an Indigo son presently 14 years old. He’s in charge of his own education which includes traveling around the world learning about democratic systems, already engaged in society changing thinking at the age of 14. He and others like him are building the template of a society far better than this broken short-circuited one of ours. Recently, I heard he is teaching himself guitar. He’s already way beyond his mom.  I’ve not heard him yet, he may be beyond me with my 30+ years of playing guitar.

I am so blessed and I know that a very important part of healthy spiritual life includes being thankful for all that you have.  Even correction of all that is wrong will be far more effective if it is done from a positive attitude base. My greatest struggle from the mid ‘70s through 1998 has been that of making sense of God. That’s why my energy and convictions are on a spiritual base, not a legal or ideological/political base. I probably won’t be physically here on Earth to see the Indigos straighten everything out, but I can certainly still give my support. My conviction along these lines are very deep, the rest is prop management. I am also convinced that all political, social justice issues will be solved spiritually, not politically nor legally.
